Get ready for an unforgettable night as the UEFA Champions League Final 2025 brings together football and music at the iconic Allianz Arena in Munich on May 31, 2025. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) face off against Inter Milan for the coveted European title, preceded by a thrilling Linkin Park performance at the Pepsi Kickoff Show.
Match Preview: PSG vs. Inter Milan
The 2025 final pits two football powerhouses against each other in a clash of strategy and skill.
- Paris Saint-Germain: Under Luis Enrique, PSG have transformed into a dynamic, cohesive team. Despite losing Kylian Mbappé, stars like Ousmane Dembélé, Vitinha, and Gianluigi Donnarumma led them past Arsenal (3–1 aggregate) to reach their second-ever final, chasing their first Champions League trophy.
- Inter Milan: Guided by Simone Inzaghi, the Nerazzurri’s balanced squad — featuring Lautaro Martínez and Nicolò Barella — edged out Barcelona in a breathtaking 7–6 aggregate semifinal. Not even the brilliance of Lamine Yamal — arguably the top player in world football right now — could stop Inter’s determined run to the final, as the Italians showcased experience, and composure under pressure.
Linkin Park’s UEFA Kickoff Show
Before PSG and Inter take the pitch, the Allianz Arena will erupt in sound and spectacle as Linkin Park takes center stage at the UEFA Champions League Final Kickoff Show presented by Pepsi®.
This performance marks a bold first for the band, as they bring their signature energy to a football stadium for a live global broadcast.
“This is really the first time we’ve done a performance like this, so for us it’s kind of like starting from scratch,” said co-founder Mike Shinoda. “We’re excited to do it, excited to see the fans, and excited for the event.”
With over 100 million records sold, Linkin Park is one of the most iconic bands of the 21st century — but as they prepare for this landmark performance, they’re treating it like a fresh start.
The show will feature a custom remix of their hit “Numb,” built entirely around the atmosphere of the game itself.
“It’s built on the sounds of the foot hitting the ball, the ball hitting the net, the fans stomping in the seats,” Shinoda explained. “These are the powerful musical elements of football that inspired the track.”
The performance also holds deep meaning for the band personally.
“It couldn’t be better for us that it’s in Germany,” said bassist Dave Farrell. “Our German fans are incredible, so to play this show here is extra special.”
Lead vocalist Emily Armstrong, who joined the band as part of their return to the stage, added:
“To feel that energy is going to be something else.”
“Numb – UEFA Edition”: Where Rock Meets the Rhythm of Football
For this one-night-only performance, Linkin Park created “Numb – UEFA Edition”, a football-inspired remix that blends the raw emotion of their music with authentic stadium sounds. The remix is now available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
